Debian on Dell Latitude D600
I had to install Debian on a Dell Latitude D600 and the new Debian installer was in beta.
I decided to try the new Debian Installer using PXE Boot.
It worked pretty well.
Here is the report I made.
As said in the report I just had to tweak the following :
- change keyboard in XF86Config-4 from pc104/us to pc105/fr
- add mode 1024x768 in XF86Config-4
- change the keyboard layout in gnome settings
- Add manually the Dell partition and windows partition to Grub
The powernowd daemon is running successfully and reducing the processor frequency.
